In late November 2011 my mother's cousin Judith and I teamed up to research our family history. As she said at the time: there is no stopping people who work as a team!
We received help and encouragement from Judith's first cousins: my uncle Bobby and my mother Dora.
Judith tracked down relatives in the States that we had no idea existed and I found a cousin in Australia. We learned of family scandals long buried and of ancestry going back to a famous Irish clan.
This blog is to share our genealogical findings with any other descendants of our ancestors. We will add to it as we continue our research. There is a separate website displaying Dora Barden's art work, here is the link:
